Kyndall Proffitt, CPM-TN

Kyndall Proffitt is a Tennessee Licensed, Certified Professional Midwife. Kyndall earned her Bachelors of Science in Midwifery from the Midwives College of Utah in 2019 and received her clinical training from seasoned midwives across Middle Tennessee and in northern New Mexico. Kyndall has attended hundreds of births in the home setting. She holds current certifications in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation and engages in continuing education and peer review regularly. Kyndall has received additional trainings and certificates from Spinning Babies and Breech Without Borders. Kyndall is thrilled to offer individualized home birth midwifery care to the community after working for a busy group practice in Knoxville for nearly three years.

Kyndall was born and raised in a small town outside of Nashville and now resides in Oak Ridge, Tennessee with her family. She strives to provide safe, evidence-based care and informed choice to families, empowering them with the knowledge to make decisions that are best suited for them. Kyndall recognizes that there is space for both science and spirituality in birth — that both matter individually yet are also interconnected. Kyndall views birth as one of the most precious human experiences and feels honored to be invited into such intimate moments.

Outside of being a midwife, Kyndall is a wife, mother, yoga instructor and plant enthusiast. She enjoys traveling, hiking, foraging, gardening, and exploring the great outdoors!
